Teen Titans: Ashes and Blood

Jotis rubbed his eyes, he wanted to comprehend everything before he made any rash judgements. Still, he felt the mission falling apart as they proceeded. A feverish sickness churned in his stomach. "You're telling me you left the weakest member of our team by himself while there were trained guards investigating the area with automatic rifles?" He asked not relieving his hand from his eyes. A headache was ensuing. The better part of him took over. Jotis unclipped his communicator and clicked a few buttons. "Sparky? You there? Sparky come in."

A few minutes passed, nothing. "Sparky. Report." Jotis commanded again and waited a few more uneasy minutes. "We continue without him." Jotis said quietly. If there were more guards he didn't want to find out the hard way. The mission felt like it was turning into shambles. Taking a deep breath, he turned back to Katana. "At this point, I don't want to know how you know all these things, I don't care. We go in looking for Sparky. Your friend, if she even is in there, she comes second. This mission is now personal, and you will follow my lead, understood?" Katana looked at him, narrowed her eyes, but she nodded in agreement.

"So who are these people? League of Assassins like you pictured?" Jotis asked. Walking up to a knocked out guard and swiping a key card. "No." Katana explained. "They would have put up much more of a fight. Plus, their gear doesn't say anything of the sort. The Reague of Assassins usually like to be up close and personal. These arms suggest long range combat." Jotis looked up to Katana. "Well, who's your best guess?" He asked observing the key card. It had a picture of another man on it, suggesting whoever these men were, they didn't belong. Katana simply looked about, sniffed the air, gripping her sword. "I don't know." She admitted.

"Well... that's great."

Never had it crossed her mind that any of her team mates were 'weak', especially not one of their most technologically advanced members. But, Looper had noticed he wasn't as advanced in fighting as the others were. Slapping her forehead in frustration, she mentally cursed herself for being so stupid. "We could head in the direction where his last location was?" She suggested, trying not to anger Jotis further.

“My Liege?”


Tiz’s voice cut through on Jotis’ communicator, proceeded by radio silence and then a faint chuckle. “My Lord? Master? Sire? Chucklfuck?” The demon whispered into the device, safely hidden in the back of one of the various vents she’d crawled through. Unaware of the situation on the other end she carelessly poked at the Thanagarians temper before rolling her eyes. “Checking in, I’ve made it to the first floor, there is a large room with various smaller containment cells situated throughout. Looks like this place might have been used for keeping prisoners. Though there doesn’t seem to be anymore at the mo--”

Tizmael paused for a moment as she heard scuffling and the thumping of boots back in the room. She crawled back to the vent open and peered down in time to see a few guards accompanying two men dragging a body. “I am now going to assume that the reason the guards left the building was because you guys made a commotion---I am also going to assume that the guards have one of our team hostage”


Tiz sounded far too amused for how dire the situation had become.


“Oh well, it looks like they’re taking whoever that is towards the big elevator in the back. There’s something big in here” The demon perked up when a loud buzzing sound signaled the opening of the elevator, what a pain in the ass this was turning out to be. “They are taking the hostage down. Jotis, do you wish me to proceeded downward through the vents?”

Jostis unclipped his communicator to listen in on Tizmael's report. He eyed Zero and Looper when she mentioned the commotion they caused. Whatever cover they had, it was blown for sure. He wanted to know what Tiz meant when she was expressing disdain for "something big" in the room. The first floor seemed fairly large, something big could be anything. Though, that soon became second priority.

"That's Sparky, he got captured because he was by himself." He explained again eyeing the two. "Tiz, go follow them as best you can, keep an eye on Sparky. Make sure they don't do anything to him. We'll see you inside soon."

Katana picked a keycard from another unconsious guard's vest after disarming his weapons. "Let's make haste." Katana advised as she approached the door and swiped the keycard against the locking mechanism and the door clicked open.


The doors to the fright elevator closed and the decend to the bottom floor began. It was huge, there was nothing else but empty space in the elevator. Eventually it came to a hault and the caged door opened, then the main doors lifted above thier heads. The two guards flanking Sparky, dragged his unconsious body across the concrete floors. They entered a room after swiping their keycard for access.

Inside red lights hummed, machine work and other miscellaneous labrotory items scattered across tables and counters were strewn about. A teenage girl with long golden hair stepped into the room after the guards. Her hair seemed to be blowing in the wind despite the lack of it in the room. "Who's this?" She asked, her arms crossed and duly unimpressed.

"Looks like he's a new Titan." Responded one of the guards tossing the communicator to the teen, who promptly caught it. "Familiar with him?" the other guard asked.

She frowned upon the unconsious Titan, her grip on the communicator squeezed tight, until it crushed under the pressure. "No." She said turning back to the door and opening it. "Strip him."

"What?"

"Strip him naked and bind him to the chair. We're going to get some answers out of him." She said as she walked out and closed the door behind her. The two guards looked at each other and decided they had to get to work eventually.

Zero's heart had sunk down into his stomach somewhere when he heard Tiz's report. Having essentially screwed up royally in getting Sparky captured was bad enough. But between Katana still having NO idea just who it was they were fighting and Tiz's report of 'Something big' possibly waiting for them, it was slowly going from bad to worse in his mind.

Their tech guy was out of comission. They were fighting an enemy they couldn't identify. There was a potential monster waiting they didn't know about. And they had an ally that they couldn't get any information about their enemy out of.

Zero tried his best to hide his personal dread and maintain a strong front, but he was finding it increasingly difficult with each passing moment- his posture was now reduced to a slump, and the usual confident look he tried to keep on his face had now partially melted into a concerned frown as he worried about the fate of his friend, the concern only growing with each look from Jotis...

"Don't we have a way to track him?" Looper asked timidly, resting a hand on Zeros back to comfort him.

"No," Jotis replied almost confusingly to Looper, as they pretty much just got off the communicator with Tizmael, "I've got Tiz tracking their movements. Hopefully she was able to keep up." he muttered to himself as he and Katana opened the double doors to the building and entered. Jotis first, he signaled his team to quietly fall in behind him. It was as Tizmael had described it, cells were lined up againsed the wall. Were they empty?

Suddenly, something moved in front of them and hid in the shadows, they could hear heavy breathing as the way to the fright elevator was clear. "Quickly, we have to hurry." Katana whispered as she bolted forward. "Wait no!" Jotis called after quietly, reaching out to her. A large figure trumpeted as a battlecry and tackled Katana, pinning her to the ground. It was in the form of a large elephant, smaller, yet more ferocious. It pounded on Katana's small frame with it's large fists before Jotis dashed his way to the beast and slashed at the side of it's body. Flinching as it pulled away from Katana, it stood on it's hind legs. In fact, it stood upright, like a large man. He wore black leather pants, and black combat boots. He stomped on the ground, ready for another attack.

Elephant Man:

Everything happened so fast- one minute it all seemed calm, next minute Elephant guy here up and beats on Katana "It just gets better and better...." Zero grunted in dismay as he saw Elephant Man. Once Jotis was out of the way with Katana, his hands flared his familiar bright blue. EM here was between them and their friends, and as far as Z was concerned that was NOT a good place to be. Deep down he was just as nervous when he fought Plasmus over a month ago, but he wasn't about to let it affect him right now. He used his powers to rip up a huge section of the floor as a sheild to protect Katana and Jotis, as they were closest to EM. All the while, he was making sure he was between his big destructive foe and Looper. Whoever this was had already nabbed Sparky, and he'd be DAMNED if they were getting her too. "We got a plan? Or are we handling this the old fashioned way?" Zero asked Jotis, secretly itching to cut the sneaking around and get to more of the stuff he was actually GOOD at...

This was going to be a tricky fight. A hit from a massive foe such as this guy could do a lot more damage besides making you smell like rotting sewage. Looper had at least heard of Plasmus before and knew what to expect from him, but this Elephant fellow was a complete mystery to her. They wouldn't be able to hide behind Zeros shields forever. "What if we make a trap, I could try and get a portal going into one of the cells. IF one of them is empty and big enough for him.." She kept her voice low, unsure whether or not those big ears on the beast could really heard them.

Katana is currently recovering.


Trying to get Katana back on her feet, Jotis sat her up first; she was his first concern at the moment as Zero and Looper seemed to be holding off for the most part. Looking past the makeshift shield that Zero had provided, he saw Elephant Man scruff the ground a few times before it trumpeted again and charged at Zero, who seemed to be posing the biggest threat to him so far. His head lowered, Elephant Man's tusks scrapped against the floor yielding to a loud screeching that filled the room, echoing across the walls. Jotis frantically sat Katana upright. "Can you stand?" He asked her. "Yes, let go." She coughed, scrambling to her feet and brushing Jotis off. She spat a wad of blood to the side and raised her sword with both hands gripping the hilt. Jotis only smirked and did the same with his sword, sparks running across his blade.

Elephant Man managed to make contact with Zero, his cranium crashing into his chest, effectively knocking the wind out of him. He quickly lifted his head; his tusks tucking under his feet and propelling Zero off the ground and into the air.



Sitting in a cold metal chair, the coldness could be felt more when your bare bottom was planted on it. The legs were chained down and restrictive bonds were strapped to Sparky's legs, arms, and neck. He sat upright in what seemed to be a freezer. Red lights were lightly flashing, if they didn't wake him up, the coldness did. You could see his blood subside as his pale skin turned almost as blue as a smurf. Then there was the girl who stood in front of him, looking down at his shivering frame.

"Y'know..." She started tapping her chin and looking down at him. "The room we were in was too hot. This room is too cold. My room on the other hand is juuust right. I'm sure you'd like it there. It's where your suit is too. M'boys took it apart. Looking in at all the fancy stuff in there. Pretty complex." She set her foot between his open legs and looked down on the freezing teen's eyes. "Wanna know something funny?" She asked as her hair whipped around the boy's chest. "I'm not here to play games. I'm not looking for a Prince Charming, not in you anyway. You're too small." She had her hands on her hips, her eyes pierced his. "I want information. Who the hell do you guys think you are?"

GOLDILOCKS:

"Zero!!" Looper couldn't help but cry out his name. She had seen him take pretty big hits before, but this fella was nearly ten feet of pure muscle, he was going to leave some damage on her best friend, if not killing him. Even though she wanted to run up to comfort him, she figured it'd be best for her to try and distract Elephant Man.

Clapping her hands together, she gestured to a spot about three from one of the walls and the first warp zone opened up. Holding off on opening the second, she turned to the giant and threw one of her batons at his head. "Hey, wrinkles!" she shouted to get his attention, starting to back up against the wall, clearly stepping on the unconnected warp in the process. "Yeah, I'm talking to you, Dumbo. Come and get me!" she was flat against the wall, ready to open the second warp so she could dive through the connection.

To call being tackled by Elephant man the equivalent to being hit by a small pickup truck seemed about right as far as Zero was concerned. Not only did the headbutt knock the wind out of him, but being tossed aside like a ragdoll didn't help matters any either. He hit the ground with a cringe- worthy WHACK, and could only manage to slowly struggle back to his feet as he tried to catch his breath. Taking a second to get his bearings back, he patted himself and was SHOCKED that it didn't seem like he had broken anything. Sure he was going to have some pretty big bruises from that one, but he'd lucked out this time.

Once he was functional enough to realize what was going on, he noticed Looper trying to entice Elephant Man into going after her. His first instinct was to tear the whole damn roof down on top of him if he even LOOKED like he was about to go after her, but he had faith in her and waited to see if EM would take the bait. If this worked, then the fight would be over quick, and Zero knew that time was NOT something that they had much of. Every second spent trying to handle this big grey clown was another second where his friends could be lobotomizing Sparky and Katana's friend or something, and if Looper was going to try and lock him in that cell and end this, he was all for it. He hoped it would work, but was ready with a force bolt as he stood on still shaky legs- just in case...

There were rude awakenings. And then there was THIS. It took Sparky a second to process it all, between still reeling from that crack on the head and now waking naked in a freezer, it was a bit of a shock. And of course the cherry on top was the bimbo that kept on running her mouth.

He never thought being naked in a closed room with a girl could be so damn unpleasant.

When he finally started to process- or more appropriately care- what she was saying, he heard her barking about giving her information. He knew he had no options for escape right now- he'd have to play for time until someone showed up..... IF someone showed up. "Y-you say you w-want inf-formation, then you a-ask a b-b-broad question. A-at least int-terogate me p-properly" he shiverred sarcastically. He was sure Goldilocks here was going to make the next few minutes unpleasant for that, but he was going to have to draw it out as best as he could. No matter how much he didn't want to.....

.....and he REALLY didn't want to.......

Elephant Man looked towards Looper, then the batons she tossed at him, then back at Looper. He wasn't sure what she was doing, or why she was egging him on, but he took a step forward, crushing the baton under his foot. Sparks escaped from under his foot as a little buzz emitted from the dying weapons; he scrapped his foot against the ground as he did with before he charged at Zero. "Sonovabitch..." Jotis muttered under his breath as Elephant Man began his attack again. "Katana, on me." He ordered as he sprinted forward to the raging mutant, sword at the ready, Katana following his footsteps.

Elephant Man brought his head low to the floor again and made a mad dash at Looper, picking up to speeds of fifty miles per hour, the loud screeching of his tusks hurt your ears. It wasn't until he began his attack Jotis noticed what she was doing, he stopped in his tracks. "What's wrong?" Katana asked. Was she just trying to get Elephant Man away from them? He looked where she placed her first warp zone, it was next to the fright elevator... "This way. Follow me Katana!" He said turning heel and running toward the warpzone.


Goldilocks smiled ear to ear and jumped on Sparky's lap clapping her hands. "I'm so glad you said that!" She pinched his frozen cheeks, "We're going to have so much fun." She said spinning around his lap and jumping off and disappearing from his view. He could hear cracking metal squeal, wheeling towards him. She popped back into view with a table full of metal work and utensils. "Let's start!" Goldilocks excitedly said, even taking off her parka, revealing a hot pink and white dress, like the cold didn't bother her. "Why did you decide to break into this facility?" She asked picking up a small hammer and bouncing it in her palm a few times. "And for that matter, we seemed to have figured out that you've been stealing the schematics of the building's infrastructure... or so the nerds tell me. You wouldn't have happened to share those schematics with your team, have you?"

The ground trembled under her feet, but she maintained her ground and as much as she wanted to cover her ears to block out the horrible screeching noise, she kept her hands at the ready. If she didn't time this right, Looper was bound to be splattered all over the compound like a bug. Every fiber of her being was yelling at her to flee, but she remained in the path of the monstrous man barreling down on her like a steam engine.

At the last possible second, when he was a good twenty feet from her and there was no stopping him, Looper slammed her hands together and created the second large warp zone in front of her. Right in the path of Elephant Mans charge.

Zero could feel his stomach doing backflips over itself as Elephant man careened after Looper like a meteor, but he was confident that she knew what she was doing. He saw Jotis and Katana rallying by the warp point, and he quickly rand over to join them. He saw Looper open the second warp gate, and knew that she was going to make this work.

Now it was their turn- he knew they had to be ready for one big, ANGRY man-thing to come out of the other end of that portal. Although he was still a bit shaken from EM's headbutt, he was more then ready to back up Jotis and Katana, and could feel himself tensing up in anticipation...

Sparky could feel the muscles in his body locking up in dread when Goldilocks came out with her cart. And yet, he found a slight iota of comfort in something she said. If they had simply hacked his communicator, they would've known everything- who got the maps, how many of them there were, where they were at, the whole shebang. However they'd managed to blow that one he wasn't sure, but it gave him an edge-

He could lie his ass off and they wouldn't know any better.

It wasn't much, but it was something he could work with, and he formed his face into an angry scowl- let the show begin. "I'm n-not telling you squat. B-besides, you c-can't scare m-me- I'm j-just a scout, there's dozens of us about to r-ride right down your th-throat, w-waiting in those w-woods. i-if you scram n-now, you might be able to g-get away. M-maybe." He stated confidently through chattering teeth, acting as best as he could. Between lying about where the group was and how many there were, maybe he could goad her into sending her lackeys to the wrong location and taking heat of the rest of the team. But he DOUBTED trying to scare her off would do much good, but it was worth a shot- right now, ANYTHING was as far as he was concerned...

Elephant Man fell through the portal and popped out the other side next to the elevator, right where Jotis and Katana had ran to. Swiping their swords crossed the giant as he fell to the floor, cracking the ground under it's weight. Thinking for almost a second that they had finished the job, Elephant Man seemed to jump right back to his feet and charge head first back at Jotis and Katana. It was only then that he saw Zero walk back up to them. 

It was too late. Too late to do anything. Elephant Man rammed into Katana, sending her flying through the open portal. Jotis on the otherhand narrowly avoided the attack by descending into the air. Elephant Man grabbed the Thanagarian's leg with his trunk and grounded him, the shock riddled through his body and caused him to drop his sword. "Do something!" Jotis shouted at Zero. 

Footsteps from the corners sounded as men with automatic rifles filed in, they made some sort of militant formation behind the exits. "Don't let them escape, boys." One man said, as they cocked their guns back and armed themselves. 


Goldilocks popped back in faux surprise, "Really? Dozens you say? In the woods?" She asked her head cocked sideways and her eyes widened. She then slammed the hammer down on Sparky's hand, the sounds of splitting bones sliced through the room as the head made contact and the pounding ripped the skin across his knuckles apart. Flesh exposed, she brought the hammer back down on his hand for a second time and screamed over his own wailing, "I DON'T BELIEVE YOU!" Her voice scratched as her vocal chords ripped. Breathing heavily, her face turned red despite the chills from the freezer, Goldilocks wiped beading sweat from her forehead and began fixing her composure to her cute little self. 

"Let's try something else." She said setting her hammer down and shifting through various metalwork laid across the steel metal cart. "How badly do you want to keep your teeth?" She asked as she revealed a set of small pliers. She sat on his lap again and forced his mouth open, her hair playfully danced across her back. "Let's start with the ones in the back and work our way to the front." She suggested almost happily. "So, the guy with the wings. Who is he?"

Meanwhile, within the ventilation systems of the compound:

Tizmael blew cobwebs and dust out of her face as she descended a vertical vent shaft; arms and legs stretched out as far as they could go to press into the metal walls of the vent so she would not plummet downwards. It was precarious and tiresome but not exactly as dangerous as what her companions were undergoing.

She’d lost track of Sparky, cursing his name for getting captured; she made her way down to the first of the underground levels, once she was crawling horizontally again she proceeded to skitter and crawl through the second levels vents; peering down into the various rooms for Sparky or their original intended rescuee.

The little demon was quiet as a mouse and unhurried, lazily looking from room to room for anything important, relevant or interesting.

Taking on that many armed men would not be that difficult, but with Elephant Man squashing them like bugs, things were starting to not look good for the Titans. After quickly shutting the warps, Looper ran up to Katana and helped her up. "Hey are you ok?" even though she didn't really know the heroine, she couldn't help but worry. Taking that many blows from such a large foe had to have left some serious damage.

"Listen, I have an idea." Looper told Katana as she made sure she was alright. "If I can get elephant man to charge me again, I could turn his attack on those men."

There wasn't much that one could see through the vents of the abandoned facility. A few guards walking by, a few running to the elevator doors. There wasn't much interesting in most rooms either; a few tools upon counters and sinks, bathrooms left dirty and unoccupied, a room full of file cabinates and papers, another with obsolete computers and lab equipment. Others had several cages that implied animals were being tested on, dried blood stained the floors. Some lights were on, other had flimsy tables set up with opened beers and playing cards set up very specifically as if a game were being played.

It wasn't until there was a peculuiar room with fluorescent lights on contained a red headed bare naked woman, strapped to a chair. The legs of the chair were nailed to the floor, and her neck was constrained to the back, she was bound in the same fashion that Sparky had been, except she wasn't in a freezing chamber. Her hands, bound by the chair's arms, and small square bandages lined up against her forarm that suggested she had blood extracted from her. There were no signs of life, at least not from the vents. It was just then a guard walked up to the unconsious woman. He was sporting a large gun, as his radio garbled in the silence. His head cocked to the side and crossed his arms, simply observing the woman, he mumbled some nonsense to himself. It didn't look like he was in a hurry, nor did it look like he cared about where the rest of his outfit was. He was simply enjoying himself.


Elephant Man let the winged leader go and stood back as the guards closed in, Jotis was about to go for his sword until the armed guards shot at the ground, stopping him dead in his tracks. Laser red dots were trained on the team. "Get on the floor!" The guards ordered to Jotis and Zero, who were closest. Jotis looked at Zero and nodded his head to him, a way to let him know it was going to be alright. The Thanagarian knelt to the floor and put his hands behind his head, one guard approached from behind and kicked his back as another came in to ziptie his hands behind his back. Another simply approached Zero and forced his arms behind his back and ziptied them together.

Four guards advanced on Katana and Looper, assault rifles up with their fingers on the trigger. "Drop your weapons." They repeated to the two as they backed into a wall. Katana gripped her sword tighter, they weren't about to get it. "Watashi wa muryokuda. Watashi ni chikara o ataemasu." Katana whispered. "Drop them! Drop them, now!" There was no way out of this. Katana bowed her head, and sheathed her Soultaker Sword. "Gomen'nasai." She said apologetically, ""Watashi wa anata no tame ni modotte kuru." Katana whispered before kneeling on the ground and placing her sword in front of them. There was no other way, she had to let him go for the time being. As much as it pained her, she needed to be smart. That didn't stop her from making a mental note of the guard who picked up her blade though.

A small voice inside her head was screaming at Looper, telling her to run, fight back, bite the jackass that was binding her hands behind her back. Just to do anything to avoid being captured. But she couldnt, that would mean putting the lives of her friends and herself in danger. As much as she hated it, she had to be patient.

That didn't mean she couldn't plan a way out if this. When the guards zip tied her hands together, she flexed they muscles in her wrists as much as she could. "Had to get the big guy to do your dirty work for you guys, I see?" She jeered, keeping the guards attention.

Zero was reluctant to stand down. To him it was like giving up not just on themselves, but on their missing friend AND on Katana's team mate. He didn't want to, but he trusted in Jotis's judgement, so when he gave him a sign to go along with it, he reluctantly permitted the gaurd to restrain him without much of a fight. He saw Looper giving her gaurd a hard time, and couldn't help but crack a small grin to himself. He couldn't resist that kind of energetic charm she gave off. He seriously contemplated wether or not he should also make his gaurd miserable as well, but he figured that a room with a giant monster man and full of armed maniacs wasn't the best place or time. It was the waiting game-

Sparky had envisioned hell as some blazing pit where a big red guy stirred you in a boiling cauldron for all time, like in the cartoons.

But after this, he figured that he needed to revise that mental image.

The bones in his hand agonizingly beaten to a pulp, he thought- for a breif moment- reeeeeeeeally hard about giving her what she wanted to know. But no, He couldn't do that. Every smash of that hammer was going to be re- paid in kind when his team showed up. It was the SOLE thing keeping him going right now. As far as he knew, his team was still going to be breaking down that door any minute, truss this little bitch up with her own hair like a christmas present, and get him out of here.

Defiance still shone in his pain laced eyes. "The guy w- with the wings..?" He stammered a repeat. "He's the angel of d-death, c-coming to get you." He hissed. He HAD to buy them time, he HAD to hold out.....

The guard behind Looper flipped his assault rifle upside down and cracked it against the back of the young metahuman's head, effectively knocking her out. Blood pooled from the back as she hit the cold floor. One guard promptly picked her up and threw her over his shoulder. "Take her down with the others." One guard ordered, motioning towards the freight elevator which buzzed open revealing more guards. Patting down the Titans, they vested their equipment from their belts. Communicators and all. "Get those cells open." The same guard instructed pointing at the large metallic cells. The cells buzzed and three doors popped open. The guards then forced the Titans into the open cells. Another buzz and the two foot thick doors shut closed. 

Looper is unconscious

Jotis sat and listened to the guards scatter and walk about, he heard a loud thump. He only assumed that it was Elephant Man sitting back down, leaning against the wall. "This is why I would have preferred the silent approach." He mumbled as he worked his arms under his feet so now his tied hands were in front of him instead of behind him. He knelt forward and rested his hands over his knee. One. Two. Three. He brought his hands down on his knee, effectively snapping the ziptie apart. He looked about his cell, nothing seemed useful. He took a deep breath and began knocking on the wall of his cell. He figured that Elephant Man probably wasn't smart enough to comprehend his morse code. (ZERO CAN YOU HEAR ME)



"Angel of death, y'don't say." Goldilocks muses as she forced Sparky's mouth open and locked the pliers to one of his back teeth. She wasn't sure which tooth, but it didn't matter too much. Jerking and cracking left and right, Sparky didn't just feel the teeth surrounding the locked tooth wiggle, he felt all the teeth in his mouth loosen. Yanking the tooth, blood spilled from his gums. His entire mouth felt like it was on fire, you could hear the grinding of the bone and metal as it twisted and crushed the enamel in her grip. "Alley-oop!" She smiled as one last crunch ripped the tooth out of Sparky's gums. Blood dripped down his lips and Goldilocks went back in for another tooth. "Wanna do another one? Was it as good for you as it was for me?"

Zero felt his face reden in outright anger as the gaurd KOed Looper. Oh, he wanted to hurt that guy. But tied up, surrounded, and badly outmatched in every sense of the word, he knew he had no hope of giving the gaurd his recompense. For now, at any rate.

He worldessly went along with his captors, opting not to give them the satisfaction of a reason to clock him one as well. Besides, he wasn't powerless- as long as he was concious, focused, and not too worn out, Zero could still use his powers- he didn't need hand motions or anything. He took his place in his cell and felt a sense of dread wash over him as the door slammed shut. Trapped, but still upright and functional. The bonds used to restrain him would be easy enough to remove with his powers, but just in case their cells were being observed, he opted to hold off for the moment.

It was after a few tense moments that he picked up on the rythm of morse code coming from Jotis's cell. It was a small releif, but releif nonetheless. He propped his foot against the adjacent wall and tapped out his response. [I-HEAR-YOU---WHAT-IS-THE-PLAN]

Sparky hadn't felt pain like this before. Sure, he'd seen the movies and all that crap, but feeling it first hand was something else. It was pain, raw, blatant pain.

He wanted it to stop- wanted it to stop so badly. He'd give anything to have his suit back- not to fight, but to run. To escape, put as much distance behind this fould place and this psychotic woman as quick as possible. But he couldn't run- he was far too disoriented from pain in his hand and mouth at this point to entertain concocting even the most desperate attempt at escape, and too physically worn out from the pain and cold to try in the first place.

But he had to keep it together. Jotis, Looper, Tizmael, Zero, Katana, SOMEBODY would be here soon. He HAD to keep it together, he HAD to keep her working. They'd be here....

God he hoped they'd be there.

"Keep wasthting your time wifth me........... they'll juftht get clother by the minith......" He droned, his mouth so raw that he could hardly talk audiably. The spark, the fire in his eyes was being drained now in favor of cold hard desperation. He didn't just WANT his team now, he NEEDED them. This crazy woman was going to rip him apart otherwise....

Tizmael paused over the vent screen that looked down into the occupied room, spying the naked women Tiz instantly knew it was Emily; that flaming red hair and dower expression were a dead giveaway.

The little demon squinted down at the guard who leered and loomed over the naked prisoner, obviously aroused and pleased with himself, it would have been amusing to Tizmael if she wasn’t running low on time and patience. Unfortunately for the guard she had the upper hand, surprise and superior ability lent her to being the victory in the upcoming scuffle.

Tiz slowly began unscrewing the vent grate, using her long clawed fingers to pop out each little screw until the grate was completely detached from the shaft. She pulled it up into the vent and gently handed i t off to her tail; which wrapped around the bars and held onto it tightly to prevent it from clanging or dropping too hard and thusly alerting the guard.

She then reached back into her rucksack and pawed around within the rough canvas bag before pulling out a jagged, evil looking dagger which she promptly slipped between her teeth.  The demon growled with pleasure as she began trickling out from the vent opening in a elegant mess of limbs, hanging perilously above the guard before dropping down in an instant like some sort of predatory bat.

The imp spit the dagger out into her hand during the short free fall; she landed on his shoulders in a handstand, one hand on his shoulder and the other jamming the blade deep into his temple.
