Gotham City's Midnight Riders (BEGUN)

"A Black lantern's rig vanishes when they die. If his ring didn't vanish... then wrath is probably still alive!" Casius said. If he DID make a recovery, Wrath would hunt them down with vengance for beating him as badly as they did.

"What?! Hey man! You didn't mention that before!!" Cyborg said starting to freak out. "Lemme contact Nightwing!" He said opening his arm communicator, "Yo Night! Slade is still at large! I repeat, Slade is still at large!! You n' Karmy better get yo butts over here!" Nightwing stopped. "Wait... I'm not with Karmy, we separated cause she was giving me a hard time.." He responded. "Wait... Then if Karmy must be with Mercy right?" Cyborg asked. "So that means- oh geez!" Nightwing closed his communicator and turned back.

Meanwhile a dark shadow was creeping up to Karmy, still holding onto Mercy's dead body.

Karmy placed Mercy into the trunk and pulled out a blanket from her bag. "It shoulda been me." she said dully. Laying the blanket down over the body, tucking her in. She stood staring for a moment, when her fists started to clinch. "I never get the chance to-" her eyebrows furrowed. "to-" she slammed the trunk closed. She had forgotten to push the blue button.

Karmy turned heel, ready to run, but stopped when she saw the shadow approaching.

Wrath was extremely weakened- he had managed to preserve enough energy in his mask to bareley be able to limp away. Nothing remained in him but raw emotion- Slade wilson was completeley erased by the liquid, skeletal thing that was wrath, mereley borrowing the face of a once proud assasin. Wrath cursed at everything he could think of- The riders, the titans, Ghost, the Roper family, Envy, who left him hanging... the list went on and on as Wrath crawled along the ground with one hand, inching towards the Wayne building. If he could get his hands on a ring and regenerate himself, he'd be set. But as he crawled along the streets, he caught Karmy out of the corner of his eye. And was that... Mercy? No way, it looked too good to be true. But he wasn't going to pass of the chance. Mustering up his strength, he formed enough of a body to get to his feet. Extending his arm like a serpent, he lashed out to grab Mercy from Karmy...

(whoa whoa whoa... There's 2!? crap...)

(Idk o_o;;, but I put Mercy in the trunk before whoever was attackin could take her O_o)

I think she is with the rest of them at Wayne manor. Wrath is trying to get to Mercy to subvert her o_O]

(Uh... yeah ok... I'm just gonna post.. did we just filll up a whole page with my confusion?)

Karmy snapped her fingers and portaled out of the way of Wrath. "You b*stard! You f*cking b*astard!" Karmy screamed furiously. "You killed her! I'll kill you!" she pulled out a flood light from her bag and pointed the burning lights at him.

Nightwing ran as fast as he could trying to make his way back to the T-Sub. Hopefully he would make it in time before anything happened. He tried to get the thought out of his mind.

The light was like Wrath was bathing in fire, but he figured he was going to die anyways, so he gave it his all- he launched himself at karmy, landing just blow the light's arc. His fluid form shot above her, and landed atop the trunk. Exhausting himself rapidly, he converted his arm into a sicle and carved the roof open. His hand began to glow a malevolent purple as he chanted the oath. "The blackest night falls from the skies... the darkness grows as all light dies... we crave your hearts and your demise... by my black hand... the dead... shall... rise..." he choked out as ribbons of black energy poured from his hand into Mercy...

"NO!!!" Karmy screamed, rage in her voice. "Let her sleep damnit!!" she lunged at Wrath. "LET HER SLEEP!"

Nightwing made it just in time, throwing a "wing-ding" at such a tremondous speed it broke sound louder than he has ever been able to do it before. It screamed in the air as it exploded out of his hand..

(XD!!! WING DING!! XDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!)

(Shut up Karm... I didn't come up with it -_-)

(I know! Thats why I'm laughing at it! Its kilarious xD!!)

Cyborg looked around, "Anyone here can teleport a large group around here?" He asked "Cause we need to get back to the T-sub pronto..."

Ivy shuffled her feet, anxious, scared and frustrated. "I'm afraid I can't...." she replied softly. But Karm, Karm would need help. They needed to go! Now or never! Old leader instinct returned as she turned to the team.

"If you can fly, pick somebody up and head back. Who knows what Wrath could be doing?"

(If this is ruining your Mercy to Lantern plan lemme know and I'll just edit. o.o; )

(Its cool Ab! Just keep posting! Wrap up your story, what ever progresses it XP)

Cyborg raised an eye, "Okay, lets go wit yo plan kid. I'm taking the T-Car, anyone who can't fly just ride! LET'S GO!" He said racing down to his ride, others getting in, and his tires screeching in the night's air.
