Gotham City's Midnight Riders (ENDED)

Although the station wagon missed Karmy, it ended up hurling straight towards Matt and Emily. Matt quickly grabbed Emily and pulled her to the side, barely dodging it. "We need to get to a safer spot!" said Matt as he led Emily towards some cars that had piled up, making a wall of metal.

"I may be a hippie, but I ain't no psycho!" Karmy thought quick and ran up to Casius. Ducking another attack, she pulled out a pair of bolos(sp?) and threw them at his ankles, binding them together. As he struggled against the restraints, she ran up behind him and aimed a flying kick into his back. "The bigger they are, the harder they fall!"

"Correction, the bigger they are:" Casius used his strength to tear out of the binds. "The more bones they break!" Casius said, and went into a suprisingly sophisticated fighting stance...

Mercy turned around for a quick second and saw two young children. "GET OUT OF THE STREETS!!" Mercy shouted at them. "GO! IT ISN'T SAFE!"

(gonna be slow posting so please give me time >_<)

"Hm, you're right!" and Karmy grabbed his arm and twisted it hard. "You do have more bones to break!"

As Matt and Emily took Mercy's advice and hid, Matt watched the fighting. "What do we do?" he asked, "I don't know who's the 'good guy'". Emily stood up from her hiding spot. "They are" she said as the pointed to Karmy and Mercy.

"So what should I do?" he asked. "I'm not sure..." Emily replied, "I'll try to see." and with that she put her hands to her forehead and focused her clairvoyance. "He...he seems to have mild difficulty with fast movements. I suppose if you overwhelm him from different angles, he should be easier to handle."

"Thanks, Emily." Matt said as he handed her a 2-way radio. "Please, keep an eye on him. Whenever he has a weak spot, tell me." and with that he ran out into the open, followed by a flurry of vines and branches. He began running a circle around the whole area, raising plants as he went along. He did this to try to prepare the battlefield so that he would have an upper hand.

Casius was able to escape from Karmy's grip, but the plants that went babanas, less so. "What on Earth?" Casius wondered.

Karmy saw her chance whole Casius was distracted. So she went for it. Jumping through another portal, she landed on top of him and proceded to rip off his helmet.

As Matt ran, he had almost completed the circle surrounding the group. Trees, vines, bushes, and flowers covered the ground behind him as he ran. Almost there, he thought.

Casius sweated a bullet when his helmet was taken off. Quickly sheilding his face from veiw, he knocked his helmet out of Karmy's grip, and made a grab for the helmet. He snatched it, and replaced it on his head. "Do me a favor: NEVER, EVER, do that again." He said.

(Sorry about taking so long to post and they end up being short ones >_<)

"Hehehe.. I knew that thing was important!" flipping behind him, she slapped a sticky grenade to the back of his helmet. Waving a quick good bye, she portaled next to Mercy.

Mercy now next to Karmy pulled a grenade and tossed it, flipping to her submachine guns she sprayed a fury of bullets at Casius. The grenade was right at his feet, then it set off.

Casius freaked when a grenade was planted- on his helmet! However, He was far from out of tricks. He pressed a button on his arm, and the armor glowed bright blue- a force field projector. The grenade exploded, and alhtough Casius was knocked over, he didn't take any harm. He pressed the switch again, deactivating the field. "You're gonna pay for that!" Casius snarled. 'Portals and plants... how the heck can i counter that?' Casius thoguht. He took up a defensive position. However, Maercy's grenade and bulelts tripped him up, and knocke dhim on his rear. "THree on one? Mind tellign me how this is fair?" Casius grumbled as he got back up.

"Now!" Emily yelled into the radio, and Matt ran towards Casius. Matt shot a flurry of vines at him from all sides, hoping that some of them might be able to wrap around him. While the vines hurled towards Casius, tree roots also began burrowing towards him, in an effort to wrap around his ankles and hold him to the ground.

"Cause you're taller?!" and Larmy flipped over him again and slammed her feet square into his chest. As he fell, She portled both of them a good quarter of a mile into the air. As the fell, Karmy pummled him as hard as she could until he crashed into the ground.

When the vines were just about to hit, someone appeared in front of Casius and teleported him away. "NO!" Matt yelled, and the plants all just smashed into the ground where he had been. "Emily, where are they?" he cried into the radio. "Above you!" she replied quickly.

He looked around, and in a moment saw them crash into the ground about 20 feet away.

(Matt is trying to fight Casius, and so are you and Karmy. Karmy tries to hurt Casius, unaware that Matt is also attacking. In the end Karmy ends up accidentally saving Casius from Matt's attack, but attacks with her own technique)

Mercy stood back to scrutinize the damage report. She saw Karmy on top of Casius. "Karmy get back!" She was worried that Casius had yet another trick up his sleeve. She knew about him and how dangerous this man was. "Get out Karmy! Move!!" She screamed running towards her. The officials wouldn't even try to go near Casius, only because he was terribly powerful and they would just let him have his way.

(Does casius still have money stuffed in his armor?)

"Matt!" Emily called on his radio, "There's Alice! Go help her!" and with that Matt ran towards mercy to offer her his support.

(Do you want to attack him thinking he's on Casius' side?)

[Yeah, casius still has the cash. I had a plan for it, but do whatever o_o]

Casius noticed that Mercy was calling the irrtating girl, whom he surmised was anmed Karm, off of him. Smart move- Casius was'nt out of tricks quite yet. "You miserable punks- don't think you've won yet!" He bellowed, and reached for a button on his armor...

Mercy tried to shoo Matt away, she was trying to implore him that it wasn't a safe place to be at the moment without any words. She unclipped an incendiary grenade and tossed it at Casius. She didn't know what button he pressed or what it will do, all that Mercy cared about was how the flames crawled all over him.

(Im still on top of him!)

Karmy screamed as soon as the flames hit her and she immediatly jumped away.

Casius tried to activate his force-field again, but when he realized someone used an incediary agaisn thim, he began to panic. Oh, his armor was fire-proof allright, but the hot temperature would kill him soon enough. Thinking fast, he raised hsi hands above his head like a club, and brought them smashing into the ground, crushing a hole into the sewers below. Leaping intot he sewers, the filthy water extinguished the flames on his armor. However, the piant had been efectively burned off, elving it a smoldering, black color. "I'm gonna break you in half for that." Casius hissed gravely. Climbing tot he surface, he pressed a different switch on his amror. The electric charge in his armor bagan to vent into his hands, and he slung a high voltage blast at Mercy, fully expecting her to dodge it...
