Gotham City's Midnight Riders (BEGUN)

Redeemer was in awe as a giant black claw swooped down on him. He was hit and restrained, but only for a second he teleported out of the trap. "It's gonna take.... a whole... lot more than that... to hold me.. down!" He said charging Luna, throwing several punches and kicks at her.

Karmy had held up a pistol and snapped her hands. And the gun hand landed at Mercy's feet.

(No worries :3, sorry for not being here O_o)

Karmy started to inch towards Mercy, her hand out reached as the other clung to the pole. "Come on Mercy! We need to get out of here."

(Yeah idk O_o...)

Redeemer froze, he couldn't think straight and he couldn't teleport! He tried, but some force was keeping him from doing so.. was it her!? No.. can't be, yet there's no other explaination. He tried to struggle out, kicking. He pulled out the knife and used to slash at Luna only to scare her off and not to harm. He wanted to get away as far as possible.

Mercy watched the events unfold. The gun at her feet. Karmy screaming at her. She couldn't hear what she was saying. She was confused trying to listen, zero in on what she was saying.


No one knew what the color of the sky was.

"Luna!" Karmy snapped her fingers and appeared above Redeemer, knife out as she tackled him to the ground. "Leave them alone!"

Mercy blinked and bent over to pick up the gun almost forgetting what it was or what it was used for...

Redeemer snapped forward, he realized what was going on now and he Teleported away, he came behind Karm and threw her back teleported in front of her punched her face, teleported to the side and kicked her ribs.

"Sh**! KARM!" Mercy screamed and squeezed off a round.

Karmy screamed out in pain and held onto the knife. She kept on trying to take swipes out of him whenever he reappeared but she would miss. "Damnit!" she grabbed her now bloody nose and snapped her fingers, appearing being Redeemer and slamming her heel into his head.

[I decided to just Casius and the others weren't there in the first place. I'll just say he is with ab and everyone.]

(So... then where's Lupe? ._.)

Redeemer fell to the ground holding his head in pain. He writhed and rolled over to where the Oil Rig was leaning. Straight to Mercy. She stomped her heel on his gut and pointed the gun at him. "Okay, now I want some answers!" She screamed at him.

Karmy wiped the blood from her face and stood up. Walking over to Luna she helped her up and then stood near Mercy, waiting for Redeemer to answer.

Redeemer teleported out of Mercy's grip and kicked her gun out of her hand and into the ocean, then he teleported again tripped her kicking in her head. Teleporting yet AGAIN he came behind Karmy and took her arm and threw her on the ground, restraining her.

"SH*T! SH-SH-SH-SH*T!!" He tried to struggle again. Mercy held her beating head. The Oil Rig started to make an ominous sound. A bass-like creaking sound filled the air, rumbling, roaring. Quiet. Everyone looked around, and then at each other. Everything was still. Everything quiet. Everyone could hear their own heart beat. Without notice the entire Oil Rig started to flare up to life, it was all going down, screaming involuntarily filled the lungs of it's victims, pipes and metal work was falling forth. Debris came down like shooting stars. They were going down into the water.

Karmy broke the surface of the water with a gasp. "MERCY! LUNA!" she started screaming. The oil rig was sinking and the pressure was starting t drag everything down from the surface so she had to fight hard to stay afloat. "Come on guys!!" she saw them and started to swim towards them. Where's Redeemer? she thought nervously. The arm that she was shot in had reopened when Redeemer grabbed her, so she was having a rough time staying afloat.

Mercy had surfaced from the water. Yelling from her friends could be heard, she felt something brush against her leg and yet she tried to swim to Karmy and Shadow. A shark. Karmy's wound was open and bleeding like crazy. "KARMY!! YOUR ARM!!!" Mercy yelled at her. She looked confused for a second, "LUNA!!! Teleport us out quick! Sharks!!!!"

(Awwww I wanted to hug the sharks Dx)

Karmy fell hard on the floor and gripped her arm in pain. Reaching into her bag, she pulled out some medical tape and began to wrap it as Luna and Mercy interrogated Redeemer

A great white shark had also got caught in the shadow. It flopped violently in the grass harmless (XD I had to!)

Redeemer had been knocked out, a loose iron bar had wacked him in the head and he had been spilling blood from his eyes unconsciously

(XD!!)

"Sh*t!" Karmy screamed and snapped her fingers when the shark got too close. A portal appeared under the poor thing and it fell back into the great Pacific Ocean. With her arm now wrapped up nice and tight, Karmy stood up "Well," Karmy walked up the unconscious Redeemer. "At least he's out."

"I was hired... by The Black Lantern as a SYNG agent." Redeemer said as a pool of blood formed around his head. Mercy, Karmy, and Luna gathered around him. "SYNG was a decoy.... funded by a bunch of rich snobs........ That money went to Black Lantern to fund my training.. I killed Batman to start up our uprising.... We needed him dead so the Black Hand could bring him back as his zombie slave. With the villains loose they could... They could do what they wanted in the city. We took out SYNG's agents... We don't need them anymore.... They will only block our intentions."

"What intentions?" Mercy asked. "What else?" Redeemer said blood staining his clothes more and more. "Power. After we got that, no one can stop us." "Where are they?" Mercy interrogated. "Wayne Enterprise." He said.

"Those bastards... Would you have told us this if you weren't dying?" Mercy asked out of curiosity.




"No."

(O_O... He's gonna die?)

"Well.." Karmy kneeled down next to him and looked him in the eyes, keeping her bad arm close to her bady. "If you're not gonna tell us what they're planning, you're of no use to us anymore."

"World domination... First with Gotham. Using a super army of dead heroes. Chances are.... They're going use me again... I'd probably fill.... Anyone.. Anyone who was demolished, I was trying to kill her," he said pointing to Mercy "it was orders. I was going to tell you what you had coming for you. Whatever you do.... Don't..... die... Don't........................-"

Mercy looked at him death had closed his eyes. "He did... In the end, redeemed himself." Mercy said. "We have to burn his body so that those bastards can't get to him anymore."

(O_O... Idk why, but I laughed at the redeemed part XD!!! This raises more and more questions though O_o)

"Yeah... You're right." Karmy reached into her bag and pulled out a bottle of carosine and a mathc. She poured it all over his body and then tossed the match on top. They watched the body burn in silence for a while. Memories of other burning bodies returned to Karmy. Of Smith. Her father. Karmy closed her eyes, her body felt week from the blood lose.

(idk total BS XD!)

Wrath observed the ordeal from the shadows, keeping out of reach. "Well well, looks like things will be getting interesting soon." He hissed to himself.
