Gotham City's Midnight Riders (BEGUN)

Nightwing just realized what was going on. No one had really explained to him about the Black Lantern, but everything just seemed to make sense all of a sudden. He picked up the dead body of Alice Mau and ran away as fast as he could. "Titans! I need some cover! Quick!!" They all sprung into action trying to protect their leader, The Riders also went into full throttle in offense against Wrath.

Wrath wasn't about to be so easily denied his prize. Raining dark spikes down on the group from the celing, combined with his dark claws slashing and churning every which way, he steped up his offensive even more, sending even more arms after Nightwing. However, a Burst of lightning courtesy of Casius kept them at bay for a second. "Get the kid out of here! NOW!" he barked, pouring lightning in Wrath's direction.

Name: Crimson

Age:16

Real name: Sirius rouge

Powers:Can form weapons or shapes made of a weird substance appearing to be made of red static (kinda like the stuff on a tv when u dont have the satilite box on exept itz red) allies can weild weapons he creates but only for a total of 4 minutes. trained in multiple forms of marshal arts.

Appearence: long red spiked hair that goes down to his waist. hazel eyes and about 5"11 in height. wears a special device on his neck to help with is disability. wears a black and red combat robe when going into combat but wears a white gi when off duty.

Personallity: know for his cheesey jokes he tells to make light of rough situations. but when it comes to a combat situation the funny joke guy becomes a serious fighter.

Weaknesses: mute, cannot talk without a special voice device on his neck.
cannot stand seeing large quantites of blood or others suffer.

History: lost his voice in a gas accident when he was 7 and left mute for 7 more years untill his voice collar was invented. having been born with his powers it is unknown who he inherited his powers from but supprisingly he had astounding controll over them. was quite a good student in school and all free time was spent on training under great marshal arts masters and creating new moves with his powers. as time went by as he was using his powers for good, he grew tired of fighting petty criminals and felt he could do more with his powers so he went off to join the titans.

Nightwing still had his hand holding onto Mercy's tightly. He didn't think twice he ran to the doors that were still shut and he kicked them open with tremendous force. He ran out into safety as the other 11 heroes battled with Wrath. He was breathing heavily when he felt something strange in Mercy's hand. It was the incendiary... He just remembered Poison Ivy.

"Hnn.." The heavy narcotic fog that hung in Karmy's mind started to lift as she woke up. "Where am I?" she asked groggily. Her vision was blurred and her body felt weak as she tried to figure out what was going on.

Cyborg had been blasting away at Wrath and just then decided to take cover, when he found Karmy starting to wake up. The loud noises from the battle must have shaken her awake instinctively. That only begged the question for Cyborg; 'where's Poison Ivy?' "Yo hippie girl! Get up! C'mon!! We gotta move!!!"

( DX I'm so sorry! Had to spend time with the family. T.T No computer for two days and THIS EPIC POSTING BATTLE happens! I missed everything! We'll miss Malice...)

Poison Ivy cursed to herself, watching everything nearby. Along the way, she had let go of the hippie. Complete accident, of course. She had heard the raging battle inside and was eager to enter, but now the fight was outside. Here and now. Whether she liked it or not, she'd leave the cover of the trees. She'd get her apprentice. She'd get her revenge. She'd get the well deserved justice of killing the Riders.

Harley would be proud of the demented thoughts going through her head...

Ivy breathed heavily, trying to collect herself. The last few minutes seemed like hours. All the fighting, the battling, the blood....
Ma--No, Mercy.
Tears sprang to her eyes. She could never say she was close to Mercy, but Mercy had been a great leader. One who had offered support and help in their twisted days of hell in Gotham. She'd have to keep fighting. For Mercy, who would not have died for nothing. And for Poison Ivy. That twisted fudger that led them into this trap.

Fierce determination in her voice, she replied to Cyborg, "I don't know where she is. But I'll find her." Her eyes flared.

Wrath continued to do battle with the riders, titans and assasins, slashing and shooting spikes wildly, not even caring if he hit- he had fully given into rage and the heat of the fight, atacking anyhting that moved. He didn't even bother with Nightwing and Malice- Evy was out there. Nightwing was no match for Envy.

Casius got whaloped on his rear end by a flailing shadow arm. "Dammit, even fi we COULD get to the b*st*rd, we couldn't hurt him. If onbly we had soem light..." He then rememebred soemthing. He whipe daround to Aurora ad blasted a shadow claw trying to get her. "Hey, kid. This is gonna sound odd, but listen to me: I need you to light me on fire again." he asked, hating every moment of it.

"Ok yeah see, this is what happens when I sleep!" Karmy said as she staggered to get up. "I get kidnapped again!"

Poison Ivy snickered, revealing herself. "Hello, hippie." she inched closer to Karm, keeping hidden in the trees so no one should see her. Just in case those Titans and Riders turn their head this way.

"Don't even try to scream." Vines whipped out, prepared to wrap around Karm again. "I've got you cornered."

Karmy tried to kick the vines away but she fell to the ground hard as the vines wrapped around her. She struggled to get free but it was no use. Turning her head to Cyborg, she began to scream. "Cyborg!! Help!!! She's hiding in the trees!!"

Poison Ivy laughed quietly. Foolish girl. Tinman couldn't withstand against Poison Ivy and her mind bending abilities. Nonetheless, a vine wrapped around Karm's mouth.

"Hippie, you owe me something." she hissed, jumping out of the trees and landing with a muted thud. "And that's....your death."

Karmy's screams were muffled as she struggled to be let go. Come on Mercy, where are ya?! You always save me by now! she thought as Poison Ivy got closer.

[Hope 'ya don't mind, Ghost.]

Ghost, carving a shadow arm like a christmas turkey, noticed Poision Ivy advancing towards Karmy. He fired at her, but missed on purpose, to get her attention. "Oy, sweetcheeks! Why beat up on a little kid when you can try 'ya hands at a REAL oponnent?" He asked, extending his plasma blades.

Poison Ivy ripped her gaze from Karm to Ghost. Turning on her mind bending ability, she smiled wickedly at him. "You don't really want to hurt me, do you?" And with a snicker she added, "By real opponent, you can't mean yourself."

Ivy turned her eyes to where Ghost had shouted. Sure enough, there was Poison Ivy. The twisted fudger... She began inching that way.

"Hey man, this aint cool y'all! This AINT cool!" Cyborg said trying to dodge claws and spikes as best he could while trying to get Karmy free at the same time. "You're in need of assistance!" Starfire's voice called out. Cyborg looked up and three star bolts came screaming after Poison Ivy. "Please," she told him, "focus on Slade. I can help the large man with the guns fight off the 'Poison Ivy'." Starfire wasn't about to get seduced by her in anyway, Cyborg knew this and smiled, "I know I can always count on you Star!" He said cheerfully. "Yo! TWO FACE!" Cyborg yelled at him for his attention. "Come and git some!!!"

Wrath turned to Cyborg, his shadowy, featureless substance writhing violently. "Oh, you wanted FACES, Cyborg? I'm so sorry. Is this better?" He asked. The claws mutated, now hideous skulls on long, spine like protrusion, made of the same, black substance as the claws had been, gnashing their sharp teeth carnivorously. "Here's your two faces!" Wrath hissed as two surged at Cyborg, hideous roars as they opened their gaping jaws...

"No, I don't want to hurt you, nor do I mean myself: I meant this guy all along." Ghost said, withdrawing a large capsule, the words 'heavy explosive' written in bright red letters. He twisted the capsule and slung it into Poision Ivy's plants. The counter began to count down quickly...

Poison Ivy screamed. Vines shot upwards, the trees bent around her. In a mere second a fortress of plants had been created around her.

But it wasn't strong enough.

The explosive burned her severely, and started a fire among the plants. Karm, who she had not even bothered to shield, had flames all over the vines wrapping her. Poison Ivy hissed, "See what you've done? Put my plants on fire, and my hostage in flames. You're a very good rescuer." She finished with a roll of her eyes. On the bright side, the fortress and explosion had ruined the starbolt attack!

(O_O! Oh come on!)

Karmy began screaming as the flames licked her body. Though she could feel the intense pain from the flames, she was more worried about something else at the moment. If her bag was destroyed, all hell would break lose.

"Dammit." Mumbeled Ghost, who had temporarily forgoten about Karmy. He dashed over, and with one swipe of his blades, diced the restraining foliage to ribbons and helped her out. He handed her bag to her as well. Wrath turned to the growing blaze, his eyes [rememebr, he has multiple now] wide with shock as the bright blaze illuminated the room, causing his shadow skulls to dissipate fast. Seeing Wrath's panicked reaction to the flames, Ghost turned to karmy. "Hey, crazy girl, what's the range on those portals you make?" he asked.

Coughing from the smoke, Karmy looked at Ghost. "As far as you want them to be!" she coughed again. "Where do ya wanna go?" she asked, ready to snap her fingers on Ghost's command.

Poison Ivy shuddered. Her beautiful plants...wilting...burning...dying. It was too much. Severely injured, she crawled off into the forest. Let Wrath handle this by himself! There were plants to save!

Ivy noted the scattering shadows. Right when the fire started. Fire....light! Her hands ablaze, she turned to Aurora. "Aur, fire it up!" she advised. As much as it hurt to further burn the plants, it had to be done. She ignited a few vines...

"I don't wanna go anywhere- i wanna bring soemhting here! Could you go as far as, say, China, where it's about high noon?" He asked. If wrath was having a rough time fighting in front of a fire, opening a portal to let in sunlight would probably be his personal hell.

Nightwing ran to the T-Sub with Mercy still in his arms. He huffed and panted as he set her down next to a hatch as he started to punch in a code to open it up so he could place her in.

If Cyborg had pants he would have wet them. He didn't so the most he did was scream and jump out of the way. "Whoa! I didn't even know Slade HAD teeth!!" He said recovering.

Karmy grinned and nodded her head. "China it is. Finish him quick I don't know how long I can keep the portal open." Karmy snapped her fingers and a portal to China opened. Grabbing the edges of the portal, she held on tight and let the light spread throughout the building.
