Dawn of the Titans (Started!!)

Wade landed in what was left of Jump city. He rememebred he forgot to ask Wber about his payment, but he figured it could wait. He had been in jump city before, so all he was able to tell by the local buildings that he wasn't far from the outside of town. He knew by the state of the city that any outsiders would want to try and leave ASAP, so this was th eplace to be. Employing his stealth training, he hid himself as well as his brother could, and sure enough, after a few minutes of searching, found Kamica and the gorup- and a little suprise. Rose, and no Slade to come and save her this time. Oh he had waited a LIFETIME for a shot like this! However, the whole group on hi, wasn't odds he favored, so he hung back and kept hidden, BARELEY refraining from taking the shot.

"Good. No more reliving the past." Kamica said heading in the direction Rose said, "Besides Rose, why would Wade come after us? Out numbered, and out powered? Trust me on that if nothing else."

"Me and dad put him in jail- he'll come after me all right." Rose said. "And by the way, it's RAVAGER to you." She said. It was a bit harsh, but she wasn't sure what to make of Kamica knowing she had trained under the sick man that killed her mother and wrecked her life.

"Whatever!" Kamica snapped back, then she started getting loud and harsh, "He's a criminal, just like his brother! I've worked with them both and I don't want to talk about it, or relive it ANYMORE! So Wade or Ravager or Master or even crap head, I don't care! Past is the past, now we move to the future." She sighed and in a cold voice said, "Let's keep moving..."

Rose cast a glare of cold hard venom at Kamica. "Whatever, just whatever." Rose said disdainfuly as she distanced herself form her. She didn't seem to get what an hour's worth of tortue did to your feelings about a person, much less when the person murdered her mother, her brother, 109 other people and cut out her eye.

Blade hung back in silence, but her mind was fuller now. Full of questions. Sisters, bah. They both had horrid problems with Wade, but instead of grouping together against him, they argue about him. So what if Kam happened to have worked under him? As Blade saw it, Kam hated him now. And Rose seemed to hate him period.

But she knew better than to meddle. This group was so strange, she had begun to wonder if she really was better off just staying quiet in the background. Or just leave. She was immune, after all.

Rose decided that Kamica wasn't the BEST company at the moment, so she decided to hang back near Blade. From what she understood she was downright cocky and overconfident- in otherwords, the ideal merc. "Yo." She said plainly.

Blade sniffed. A small pet peeve of her's was when people didn't use proper english or spoke in slang. Side effect of all the reading she had done when she was younger. "Hey." she replied stiffly. Was she in the mood for talking? Not really. Was she in the mood for talking with Rose, the insane fighter chick? No way on earth.

Rose didn't need her powers to tell that Blade would rather devour her own feces than spen another second with her, so she made herself sparce. WHo else HADN'T tried to kill her, or vice versa?
Kamica? yeah, right. She hated her AND had tried to kill her.
Ghost? She kinda stole his body earlier. it probably wouldn't go well.
Blade looked like her presence was going to melt her, so she didn't even bother.

The more and more she processed the list, it looked mor eliek she was in the presenc eof not just strangers, which was bad enough, but strangers that didn't seem to honsetly like her. If she didn't need their help, she would have been gone a long time ago. But for now, she had no choice.

for now.

"This is just so great..." Kamica mumbled to herself, kicking a rock. The past wouldn't leave her alone. Slade, Rose, now Wade. Now if she had a gang of theives, two old farts as garidians and a scribled-to-life tornadeo, she'd have her criminal life back. Your not in Echo anymore Kam. The gang's not here. You don't have Slade's sign on your arm. No one can take control of you, and your a hero. She thought. Kamica pulled a small, old piece of paper. In fancy writing it said, 'Kamica, I'm so sorry' "I'm sorry too."

Wade, form his perch, noticed Kamica off ot the side away from the others, and ifgure dhe made it high time his presence was known. She knew ROse, and there wa ssomehting more about that relationship he didn't know. As he snuck up on Kamica, he noticed her reading a note and speaking to herself. "Feeling sentimental?" he asked with a hiss so as to only alert Kamica to his presence

"Ok even I don't know wh-" She turned to see Wade. Her once hero standing in front of her. Before she got excited like a fan, she reminded herself she was a hero now. No killing, stealing, or being fans of creeps like him. "What the f-ing hell are you doing here?!" She asked, her arms bursting into flame. Ice, vines and rocks grabbed at Wade. Trying to hold him.

Wade continued to attempt to keep from being restrined, with mixed success. "Aw, what's the matter? Can't take the time to say hi to an old friend?" He asked, slicing at whatever tried to hold him. He could have used some of his other tools to bust out, but he needed info, and he knew that this was just how to get it.

Kamica began to throw fireballs at Wade, she made exceptionally large. "Hi." Then she threw it and began to create another. Ice formed around Wade causing the ground to become and ice rink.

Wade simply layed flat on his back, and let the heat form the passing fireball melt the ice on the ground. "Come come, why so violent? At first, you looked happy so see me. I see you've been around my b*tch neice too long." Wade said.

"Well well well." Ghost said raising his sniper at Wade. "Who are you?" he asked. "Geeze, whats with you lot and fighting?!" Eloise said walking up next to Ghost. "I mean come on! We're all trying to survive here!"

"Here I thought I was being so sneaky." Wade said as Ghost and the others began to detect his presence. Nonetheless, he was going to take advantage of this opportunity. he withdrew what appeared to be a normal pistol. "Don't blink." he taunted, pulling the trigger, releasing a massive smokescreen and vanishing. Little did the group know, the smoke was full to the brim with microtracers, audiotransmiters, the works. Escaping, he made himself scarce. it was time for the fun part to start. He adjusted the audio bulbs on the side of his mask, waiting plainly.
[I would rather the tracers go undetected for a while, if that is ok]

Kamica breathed in so smoke but quickly was able to dispatch it with a gust of wind. She couldn't help but agree that Rose was a b*tch. Atleast she was on the hero side... for now. Coughing alittle she said, "You don't try to survive, you just do. And what was with the smoke? Non smoking zone here." Kamica tried to make a joke.

Wade remained atop the tower, and began to forward the feed tot he doctor from earlier. "You got all this, doc? With my gear, we'll know if they plan anything." He said over his com. Although the smoke had been blown away, some of the microtransmiters had made their mark, and thus he could track who it hit- Ghost, Kamica and Eloise specificaly. He didn't get his chance to kill off Rose and hadn't seen Slade witht hem, but in good time, in good time.

Rose arived just in time to see the smoke blow away. "What happen here? Someone have a busted smoke grenade?" She asked.

Eloise coughed and waved the res of the smoke away. "Hell if I know." she wheezed. "Yeah, some crazy wanker was messin' with the kid." Ghost said sticking his thumb over to Kamica. "well are we gonna go up to that house or not?" Jimmy said walking over with everyone else.

"Who are you calling kid?" Kamica wasn't going to tell Rose it was Wade. No need to worry her or make things werider then they were. "It was an old gang member, so let's keep going. That house, is Slade's by the way."

Blade wasn't comfortable. Usually, there was a reason behind a huge smokescreen besides escaping. Especially one that big. But, seeing how everyone else was perfectly fine, and she felt alright too, she'd ignore it.

"Let's go." she grunted, eager to get away from the isolation that was Jump City.

"First things first, we'll need to bust out of the quarantine to get there. But be careful- they'll be using infection weapons, so don't get shot." She explained to them as they approached the border...

Blade snorted and joked, "You guys can use me as a shield." Oh yes, now she was totally milking the immunity thing. And she didn't really care if it made her seem as obnoxious as it might have.

"So, Blade, if you don't mind," Kamica started getting a plan ready. "You cover Rose and find a weak spot in the barrier. James, Alaska and Kate, if it's ok with you, will go in behind. Ghost and I will provie cover fire. Again, everyone ok with that?" She glanced over the group, wishing that this plan would work or they'd have a diffrent one that would.
