Just the one, for the comics at least, he's a vampire who drinks your blood and gains your powers/eats your flesh and enjoys it.

This is him escaping from hell, apparently if he kills the person he drinks from their 'essence' remains with him longer, IE he gets to keep their powers longer.

PS: also while I have this excellent opportunity I would like to point out the artistic techniques utilized here.

First off, the fact that you don't actually 'see the hit' an old saying of comic artists everywhere, you see him about to strike, and then you see him after he's ripped the demon leech in half, but you don't see the actually ripping, mostly this is because the actual action tends to be pretty boring.

Second, despite the fact that we have a graphic act of violence displayed here, they actually censored it with blood. No bone no distinguishable organs, just blood.

Third, the monster speaks without spaces, giving it a sort of fast feeling to it. Despite the fact that it is actually text the font and the lack of spaces add to the reader's imagination of how the creature speaks.

O.o I thought there were like two of them, or something...

Oh nope you're right. I was confused by the fact that they're both named Sebastien Blood but there's Sebastien Blood VIII and this Sebastien Blood who is IX

Here's something new and interested I learned from reading Reign in Hell.

Apparently Zatanna's father. Zatara is in Hell, and is leading the resistance movement there.

It really helps cut down on the confusion, and is pretty damn funny.
