The Darkest of Knights

Batman sat down and looked at the chemicals. He let out an exasperated sigh. Alice joined him, "Uhh didn't Slade have Karmy's bag?" She asked him. His eye popped open. "Ugh, so how important is that bag to her again?" He asked Alice. "Well she'd rather have her back sliced open than her bag." Alice reminisced. "Great... okay, Alice can you get to working on making several thousand gallons of this stuff?" Batman asked her pointing to the antidote. "Not a problem, I'll have it in the Bat-Vessel in no time." Alice saluted, and picked up the serum running off. "How's Babs?" He called to her running after Slade. "She's pulling through!"

"Who the f*ck cares, grab the weapons and lets make a mad dash back to the bus. Pick up anything you can." Jason said picking up the Intervention he left on the floor. He picked off several shot guns and handguns that were also being displayed. "Imma get ammo so y'all can shoot that sh*t." Luis said. "Oh ma gawd! PILLS!"

Alaska shrieked in horror. "Uhh I don't want to jinx it, but what if they start breaking the glass? Don't busses have bulletproof glass?" She asked. Alaska knew that most bulletproof glass was flat, and unlike most cars that had curved windows, a city bus had flat windows.

Barbara woke up again and looked to her side, she was startled to see Karmy resting next to her, Barbara's heart was racing and worrying that she might jump out of her bed and bite her other hand. Karmy seemed calm now, nevertheless, she kept her silence in fear of waking her up.

"Whatever you say chief!" Robert packed whatever he could into the bag and pulled out a handgun. "Hurry up Luis!" Robert called back to him as he loaded his gun. "We gotta get a move on!"

"I think so.." Levis looked at the windows. "They really need to make zombie proof windows. It just makes sense."

"Thanks Cas." Karmys head lolled to the side and she caught site of Barbara. "Hey.." she greeted weakly to her. "Dude.." she caught a glimpse of her hand. "Wha' happened to you?"

Luis scrambled to get more shells. "Hold on! I can carry a little bit more!" He said reaching into a rack to nab some more shells, on trying to retract his arm back he found that he couldn't for some reason. "What the hell?" He asked pulling harder. "Holy sh*t!" He yelped dropping all the rounds to the floor. He held his arm blood gushing from a bite wound. "I knew it! I F**KING knew it! Black guy goes first! F*ck!" He screamed in agony. "Luis!!" Jason yelled as the crazy kicked the rack down ontop of Luis and jumped on it. "Go! Save yourself while he eats me!" Luis yelled at them. "Get yo cracka asses outta here!"

"I doubt car companies were trying to advertise zombie-proof cars." Alaska huffed sitting in a corner away from the windows.

Barbara coughed, she didn't even try to pretend that she was asleep anymore. "I... fell down. Some stairs." She said coming up with them most absurd lie, hoping that Karmy would buy it.

[The world ain't frikin' big enough for this]

Slade. Held jump city in the palm of his hand, gripped in fear as he avenged his son in his vendetta against the titans.

Cassius. Kept Gotham's criminal underground crapping itself as he sought to acheive the liquid cash to save hsi family.

Two titans of power and will. Slade and Cassius nearly ran into each other as they rounded the corner, looking for each other.

"Slade"
"Casisus."

The two circled one another like sharks. "I allways wanted a chance to swap shots with you." He said, gripping his cannon nervously. Slade didn't break his gaze. "Not the time for flattery, I'm on a tight schedule. Places to go. Hippies to ki-" Slade didn't finish before he had to quickly dodge a powerful punch. "Don't flatter yourself- I'll have you squashed in no time flat." Cassius said, getting into a fighting pose. Slade drew his staff. "Fine, be that way- I'll bring you down first." Slade hissed, and the two leapt at each other, powerful blows and rapid kicks raging back and forth.......

"Oh hells no!!" Robert fired at the crazy. "No one is dying on me, not again!" he ran to help Luis. "This is not a video game or movie, dammit!" he shouted. "This is real life!"

"I call patent rights on that!" Levis hissed and pulled back the hammer on his gun. "What should we do now?"

The sleeping agent finally began to take over her, and Karmys eye's started to grow heavy. "But.. You're bleeding." she tried to stay awake as best as she could. "What's been going on?"

Astro awkwardly held Luna in a bridal's carry.

Ivy frowned. "Dammit!" she cried. "I always mix up the Batcave and Wayne Manor. No wonder Z is always in charge of directions." The earth beneath them shifted, tightening into another makeshift ship. "Just tell me where to go." she sighed, feeling like an idiot.

Knightmare jumped from around a bush, spotting the two cops heading to the gun shop. She slowly murmured her sleeping spell. People. Victims. Kill. she thought.

(Am I seriously the only one who gets confused on the Batcave location? x] )

The Batcave's Location

[Okay I thought I explained the Batcave several times. I'm gonna do it again. Dick Grayson moved out of the original Batcave like he did in the comics, he did that in the last RP. He moved it away from Wayne Manor, only about 200 yards from it. If you've seen Chris Nolan's "The Dark Knight" you'll notice that Bruce Wayne moved out of his own Batcave because it crumbled upon its own foundations from the fire set by Ras. Think of it like that Batbunker but with five stories underground and away from Wayne Manor.]

"Get.. Get off of-!" Jason said dropping to all fours. "What the hell...?" He asked to himself feeling extremely drowsy. "What the-..." He was now flat on the floor. "The f*ck?! Don't fall asleep cracka!! This b*tch is gonna eat me! Get yo ass up!" Luis yelled as the crazy began to jump up and down on Luis.

"Fine I don't care! Do all you want! See it that'll sell at all." Alaska pouted hugging her knees. "Its not like the undead will be here all time. You'll see, we're going to get out of this really soon".

Karmy really didn't know what happened. That was good... For now. Barbara just wiped her sweaty forehead off and lay there silently for a couple of minutes. "Just get some sleep. You need it." She advised weakly.

Batman snuck behind the two titans fighting each other. The bag Dangled loosely from Slade's Robotic shoulder. He prepped a batarang, if he could knock it out and grab it, it would be all over with. Cassius could handle Slade for sure, he trusted him. Concentrating and focusing, Batman tossed the batarang.

Slade and Cassius continued to rage back and forth, a flurry of staff swipes and punches flying from one to the other. However, Slade caught a glimpse of those damn pointy ears out of the corner of his eye. And aiming for the bag. He dashed back, albeit the blade scored his shoulder. However, Cassius, who was not expecting the sudden batarang, was temporarily surprised. Slade had a convenient second- he figured he'd better use it now.

He didn't hesitate to shove his hand into the bag to see what he could find. He procured a paint can from it. Damn, totally usele-...... Or was it? Cassius wound up for a punch, but Slade had a plan. He tore the top off the can, and slung the can's contents onto Cassius's helmet, coating his helmet in paint, blinding him. "You sonava..." Cassius spat, vainly trying to remove the paint from his visor. But he was a target now- Slade hammered him to the ground with his staff. "If you keep doing my job for me Batman, I'll be out of a job." Slade sneered, referring to the batarang from earlier. Cassius was the one with a distraction now. He had no choice but to remove his helmet to see. Although he managed to clobber Slade off of him, he had to be more defensive now- His head was now exposed and vulnerable, and Slade didn't hesitate in trying to attack it as the two resumed their fight....

Batman tackled into Slade and tried his best to hold him away. "Just keep your damn mouth shut!" He grunted trying to find wires he could pull.

Robert fired at the crazy, hitting it in the torso. "Awww sh*t, Bard!" he ran over to him and tried to wake him up. "Wake up man! We need to get back to the... Oh crap." he recognized what was going on. "Luis! Come on, we gotta bail!" he helped Bard. "That crazed metachick is back!"

"Hopefully." Levis hesitated on patting Alaskas shoulder to try and calm her down. "Sorry, I just get jumpy a lot." he gave her a crooked smile. "You'll be back to your anchor chair in no time, Ms. Alaska."

Karmy mumbled something that sounded like a 'thank you' for some reason or another, then her eye's rolled up and she was out like a light, falling into a deep sleep.

Luis crawled out with one arm, the one that wasn't bleeding. "C'mon! Let's teach this prehistoric b*tch how we do things downtown!" He said picking up a Benelli M3 shotgun and pumping it with one hand, Terminator style. "I think she's a metahuman actually." Jason murmured.

"Thanks for the optimism. I'll report about all of you." Alaska promised with a smile, her hand glazed over the bloody build that crusted around her leg and sucked air through her teeth. "Damn... He must be trigger happy to have shot me." She pondered.

Knightmare gave a frenzied giggle. More people. More fun. She took out the 7 mm Remington Magnum she had swiped earlier in trade for the gun she originally wanted. A part of her wondered why she had done the trade, when the other hand gun would most likely be more helpful here, and then she remembered. This gun was shiny.

She didn't bother to aim, shooting it in their general direction while chanting her spell over and over.

"Gah c'mon man! fight it!" Robert held Bard up as he dodged the oncoming bullets. He fired off a few rounds before he felt something seer across his arm. He cried out and saw that one of the shots had skimmed his arm. "Sonova-" he ignored the pain for now. "Bring it on metab*tch!"

Levis tensed up when she said that she would report on him. But really, she had nothing. She didn't know his name, who he was, anything! So he shrugged it off for now. "All cops tend to be trigger happy, lemme get a look at tha-aAH!" the bus was starting to shake back and forth from the crazies. "Sh*t!"

Knightmare ducked, the brute of the shots being a bullet that widened the wound in her shoulder. "Hahaha..." she laughed softly, advancing slowly. "Go to sleep, haha. You seem tired..." she rasped, nodding to Robert. A knife appeared in her left hand, her right holding the sniper. "Sleep."

Ivy landed where the Batcave entrance was. "Okay, here we go." She mumbled, picking up John in his stone wrapper while Astro picked up Luna.

(Sorry Merc. Batcave location was confusing to me. )

The same sensation that washed over him earlier, was now coming again as Robert stumbled and slumped against the wall. "Gotta.. Fight.." he raised his gun in a last ditch effort, and fired at Knightmare.

(Gonna be out till late, control goes to whoever needs it o_O Nevermind, car got a flat tire)

"Yo! Y'all forget about the black guy that easily?!" He asked shooting the M3 and pumping a shell out with one hand, then firing off another round, he laughed his head off. "Hey white boys! Wake the hell up or I'm gonna tell everyone that you was sleepin' together!" He laughed.

Alaska started screaming, she got up to limp to the exit. "C'mon! Lets scare them away!" She said loading her handgun.

"Would you shut the f*ck up and help us!" Robert shouted weakly, still trying to fight Knightmare's power. "Shoot the metab*tch already you dumbass!"

"I really don't think we can scare them away." Levis stood up and took out his hand gun. "Geeze, is this all they left us? We can't fight a whole swarm with these!"

"The f*ck you think I'm doin', cracka?!" Luis cursed at Robert, he only had one available hand to pump and shoot, it was harder than it looked.

Alaska checked how much ammo was in her handgun, "So what do you want to do? Nothing? That's not what action is about." She said crawling to the doors.

(Ok noooooowww control open to whoever needs it)

Batman noticed footsteps. "Robin!! I need to rope or cable!! It's Slade!!" He warned trying his best to hold Slade down, he was thankful that it he was stronger than the machine, he needed cable, or something else. Maybe if he could weld him together.

Batman blankly starred at Robin for a second. His face was something that Robin might have wanted to frame and put on a wall. "Has... Something come over you Robin?" He asked.

"You..... don't dare think you've got me yet!" Salde raged. To think they had him so easily was folly beyond words. Slinging his weight as hard as he could, he hammered batwards into a wall, using the robotic suit's weight to attempt to smother Batman. After this, he instead lurched forward, past Batman. He oculdn't take Batman, Cassius AND Robin all at once, not like this. He dashed for the door as quickly as his robotic legs could carry him....

"Get the bag!!" Batman yelled springing back up, "Don't let him escape with that bag! Ivy! Block the exits!!" He commanded praying that she was the one that trasported Robin here safely. He merely deduced it.

A sharp ringing cut through the otherwise peaceful din of Thorne's television. The crime lord himself wasn't really watching, his thugs were taking up most of the couch anyway, and Roxie was painting her toenails a rather attractive shade of crimson red. Thorne was behind his desk, and after a couple of rings, he was a busy man no sense in letting people think otherwise, even if he was just biding his time at the moment. The crime boss unclipped his phone and held it to his ear "Where did you want me to drop off your hunk of metal?" Cute, sounded like the X kid had bit off more than he'd bargained for, no matter all the more reason not to have sent his own men.

"There's a warehouse on the north end of the industrial district, Sparrow Drive number 8236. The door should be open, the buyer will meet you there. Try not to be late. He's not a patient man."
